Fashion Magazines?
musicmakesmehappy asked:
I’ve scanned the pages of several fashion magazines available (i.e vogue, marie claire, instyle, and elle), but I keep being disappointed. As an aspiring fashion designer (I’m pretty young, as in under 18; very into sketching, but have not yet learned to sew), I’m more interested in what the major designers are up to, and couldn’t really care less about celebrities/gossip, or the love&sex section. Does anyone know of a magazine that includes only substantial fashion news/trends, and no irrelevant extras?

No matter what magazine you pick up, it’s not going to just solely focus on one topic. Yes, fashion of course may be the main topic in fashion magazines, such as Vogue, but they are also going to offer diverse topics so the reader won’t be bored and will have knowledge about well-rounded topics. However, just from my experiences, I would say Vogue is filled with more useless health information, along with celebrities and gossip, more so than their foreign magazine counterparts. Take Vogue Paris for instance. Even though you may not be able to speak or read in French, Paris Vogue is basically filled with fashion and stripped away of all of the worthless articles and editorials that American Vogue has. Also Australian Vogue, British Vogue, and Italian Vogue are good foreign choices for magazines, if you’re interested in picking up magazines that you may or may not be able to read because of the language barrier factor.

I don’t think there’s a magazine that focuses on 1 topic. But try out this Site… It’s Sort of like an “Online Magazine”
*Hope This Helps*
